April 2010 One of the great and courageous requests found in the Old Testament came from the mouth of Caleb, one of the two survivors of the forty years wilderness sojourn, when he was 85 years old. As the children of Israel viewed the promise land the mountainous region around Hebron was an awesome challenge because it was inhabited by the Anakim and filled with walled cities. With the faith of a man confident in His God Caleb said to Joshua, “Now therefore give me this mountain,”[ Josh 14:12]

Mesachie mountain does not hold giants or walled cities but it was a gigantic price and faith in our God gave us the courage to ask the impossible. I am thrilled to be able to say...

“The Mountain is ours”- God has, through your help and generosity, graciously allowed Camp Imadene to acquire the very significant and beautiful piece of property opposite our present site. The mountain, 160 acres of land including 7000 feet of waterfront on Mesachie Lake will be finalized on June 30th. Finances have miraculously come together and we have sufficient in the bank to cover payments for the next couple of months. We are so thankful to God for this incredible blessing. We are planning several evenings of thanksgiving and information starting in Victoria at Lambrick Park Church on April 30th. Other dates will be announced soon. We will follow up these events with ceremonies of dedication and praise on the new property later.

Camp is halfway through its busy registration period, which is going very well, and directors are busy looking for staff. There is still room at the May Long weekend which is an excellent opportunity to come with your family to work, play, relax and enjoy the fellowship while providing a service to Camp.

Our focus continues to be the development of the Camp property and our Camp program. To this end, we are still encouraging people to invest in the lives of boys and girls by signing up with our 20+ program.
