Do you have a heart to serve? Are you looking for a ministry where your God given talents and gifts can be used for His glory? Camp Imadene wants to offer you an opportunity to serve God in a Christian Camping ministry this summer. We are located on Vancouver Island just 110 Km north of Victoria or 75 km south of Nanaimo.

Our Mission Statement: In a fun filled, safe and wholesome Christian Camping environment, we will introduce children, teens and adults to Jesus Christ and we will encourage Christian growth through Bible teaching and service.

Through your service at Camp Imadene you will have an opportunity to have a part in changing lives and touching hearts of those who visit our site. In addition, you will be learning new skills, be stretched and encouraged and learn to rely on God’s strength.

Ministry opportunities at Camp Imadene?

Weekly Staff

Camp Imadene is offering you the opportunity of a lifetime! For one week this summer, you can come to camp to serve God, our campers, make new friends, learn new skills and have fun doing it.

For 80 years we have been able to provide quality camping experiences for children, youth and adults primarily due to the thousands of volunteers who come every week to serve as kitchen help, cabin leaders, program staff, music team, boat drivers, pot washers, teachers, waterfront staff, crafters, Kid’s Care and Shadow Guards.

This is an opportunity for you to go out on a one week mission only a short distance from your own home and play a vital role in introducing our campers to Jesus Christ and encouraging spiritual growth in those you work alongside.

Either behind the scenes in the kitchen or working directly with our campers, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate God’s love and compassion for His children, both young and old.

Leadership Team

  • Paid positions, room and board included
  • Advance crew arriving the beginning of May and serving for 4 months
  • Summer crew arriving mid June and serving until the end of August
  • Skills required include lifeguards, videographer, program, maintenance, boat drivers, crew chief, office staff
  • Must be 17 years or older (finished secondary school)

L.I.T. Program (Leaders-in-Training)

Camp Imadene is inviting you to be a part of our summer L.I.T. Team.
Serve with us as God uses you to help camp make a possitive change in the lives of it's campers.

Practical Training

This program provides opportunities for you to learn new activities and gives you the chance to develop leadership skills in various areas of our camp. You will be taught how to lead many of our program activities including:

Climbing wall
Canoe
Archery
Rappelling
and many other camp activities

You will also be part of a team as you work along other staff doing various jobs that keep camp clean and healthy. By serving in this way, you will be challenged to grow spiritually as you seek out God’s calling on your life.

Be Part of the Team

As an L.I.T. you will become an integral member of the Summer Staff. Community and fellowship is encouraged and fostered, with opportunities for spiritual growth through practical service, weekly bible studies and daily devotionals.

Commitment

For those in grade 10 to 12 (or just completed) we ask that you make a minimum 4 week commitment to serve.

If you are in grade 8 or 9 (or just completed) you are invited to join us for a limited L.I.T. program.

All L.I.T. Team members are expected to attend the Leadership Development Camp before the summer begins. Cost for this Camp is $120
