JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY
The Office Manager organizes and coordinates office operations and procedures to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
The Office Manager will work closely with the Executive Director, Assistant Director, and Summer Secretary. This position reports directly to the Executive Director.
HOURS
This is a year-round, full-time position starting June 1, 2023. Regular office hours, Monday-Friday can be expected, but hours must be flexible during busy periods in coordination with the Executive Director.
DETAILS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the day-to-day operations of the camp office, including:

Bookkeeping: Paying bills, payroll, making journal entries, reconciling accounts and donations, balancing books, preparing tax returns and filing year-end reports.

Phone and email communications.

Booking guest groups and maintaining communication with them.

Managing camper registrations.

Overseeing summer season office staff.

Be committed to providing Christian love, biblical care, and support when required.

Performing other duties as assigned.
SKILLS REQUIRED

Bookkeeping experience.

Proficient with accounting software. (Sage)

Excellent communication skills including, oral, and written.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a positive team environment.

Must provide a Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector screening.
