SPEND A WEEK AT CAMP!
You've waited long enough, let's get summer started!
Overnights are back!
Now more than ever children need a place they can be free to play, explore, have adventures, and gain positive influences in their lives.
Each day is a new adventure that gives our campers opportunities to gain confidence and self esteem. Our chapel times provide the chance to sing along with great music and hear about God's love for them.
Campers get to develop meaningful friendships with our cabin leaders and staff as they are guided through awesome wide games, various activities, and quality cabin group discussions.
Registration Begins January 3, 2022 at 9 AM
A TYPICAL DAY AT CAMP
ALWAYS SOMETHING NEW
Each day begins with an optional swim in the lake, before heading for a hearty breakfast meal.
After breakfast campers will enjoy one of the wide games that are tied to the story for the week or participate in an activity block.
Before lunch, our morning chapel session will include singing, skits, and teaching from the bible. All chapel sessions are designed to make everyone feel welcome and included.
The afternoon will see another activity block, cabin hour, tuck, and free time. During supervised free time, campers can choose any of the open activities. A cabin leader will always be available to spend quality time with campers and encourage them as they try new things.
The evening kicks off with another terrific meal, followed by the evening wide game, which also is tied into the week's story. At evening chapel, campers can once again sing some of their favorite camp songs and listen to our speaker teach from the bible.
When it's time for bed, campers get a well-deserved sleep as they prepare for another fun-filled adventure the next day.
COVID-19 AND SUMMER 2022
Camp Imadene will be respecting all rules and regulations defined by the Provincial Health Officer and the BC Camping Association for the upcoming 2022 camping season. We will constantly evaluate our situation as things change and evolve leading up to the summer and make decisions based on whatever the current health regulations are at that time. All programs are subject to change or to be canceled on short notice.
Proof of Vaccination
Once more information is released by the PHO on vaccinations for children, we will work in collaboration with the public health guidelines to develop a policy around COVID-19 vaccinations for our campers. We will release this information prior to any major payment deadline with a flexible refund policy to allow families time to make pragmatic decisions regarding camp next summer.
Adult Camps, including WOA weekends and Family Camps, will require all campers age 12 and over to provide proof of vaccination to attend.
Vaccination for Staff and Volunteers
Using the current BC Provincial Health regulations, all staff and volunteers will be fully vaccinated while working at Camp Imadene. We will follow guidelines and rules as they change, and if vaccinations are no longer required, we will update our policies.
